1. About us

The website and services are operated by Crefiltur LTD, a company registered in England and Wales (company number 17516053), with its registered office at 71-75 Shelton Street, Covent Garden, London, WC2H 9JQ, United Kingdom ("Crefiltur", "we", "us"). You can contact us at [email protected].

2. The service

Crefiltur is a web-based video editor powered by automated AI tools, sold as a subscription. You upload raw video, audio and related assets; the service automatically produces an edited video, which you can adjust in the browser and export in the formats described on our pricing section. Every plan gives access to the same editor; plans differ only in how often they renew and what they cost.

Processing times shown on the website are typical, not guaranteed, and depend on the length and format of your footage. The result depends on the quality of your source material; the editor flags files it cannot process when you upload them.

3. Eligibility and accounts

You must be at least 18 years old and able to enter a binding contract. If you order on behalf of a company, you confirm you have authority to bind it. You are responsible for keeping any login details or shared folder links confidential and for everything submitted through them.

4. Plans, orders and payment

• Prices. Plans are priced in US dollars (USD), taxes included: the 2-Week plan costs USD 15.99 every 2 weeks, the 4-Week plan USD 24.99 every 4 weeks and the 8-Week plan USD 34.99 every 8 weeks. New subscribers pay a discounted introductory price for their first period (USD 6.39, USD 9.99 and USD 13.99 respectively). Introductory pricing is available once per person.
• Billing. The first period is charged at checkout. Each following period is charged automatically at the start of that period, by card through our payment provider, Stripe. By subscribing you authorise these recurring charges until you cancel. If you choose to pay in your local currency at checkout, the conversion is made by our payment provider and renewals are charged in that currency. Charges appear on your statement as CREFILTUR.
• Automatic renewal. Your plan renews automatically at the regular price unless cancelled before the renewal date (see section 9). We email you 7 days before the first full-price charge, and your purchase email states the date of that charge.
• Failed payments. If a payment fails we will retry it and notify you. Access to the editor is paused until payment succeeds, and the subscription is cancelled if payment remains outstanding for 14 days.
• Price changes. We may change plan prices with at least 30 days' notice by email. The new price applies from your next renewal after the notice period, and you may cancel before then.

5. Your content

"Your content" means everything you send us: footage, audio, images, text, logos, brand assets and instructions.

• You keep all ownership of your content. You grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide licence to store, copy, process and edit it with automated tools, solely to provide the service to you. Our staff access your content only to provide support you have asked for or to investigate abuse.
• You confirm that you own your content or have all permissions needed to use it and to let us edit it, including consent from people who appear in it and rights to any music, footage or graphics you supply.
• You must not upload content that is unlawful, infringes anyone's rights, is defamatory, sexually explicit involving minors, promotes violence or hatred, or that you are not entitled to use. We may remove such content and suspend the account without refund.
• We will not use your content to train AI models and will not show your finished videos publicly without your written permission.
• Keep your own copies. Projects, including source footage and exports, are deleted 30 days after your last edit, as described in our Privacy Policy.

6. Exports and project storage

• Edited videos are produced automatically and made available for download from your project page, usually within minutes of upload.
• You may edit and re-export a project as often as you like while your subscription is active.
• Projects are kept for 30 days after your last edit and then deleted. Download the exports you want to keep before then.
• We may block processing that would produce unlawful content or infringe third-party rights.

7. Intellectual property

• You own the videos you export. To the extent we hold any rights in an export, we assign them to you on payment for the period in which it was made, except for third-party materials described below.
• Music, fonts and graphics from our library are licensed to us and sublicensed to you for use in your exports on standard online platforms and in your own marketing. Separate licences may be required for broadcast television or cinema; ask us before using an export there.
• We retain all rights in our editing methods, templates, tools and the website.

8. Acceptable use of the website

You must not attempt to gain unauthorised access to the website or our systems, introduce malicious code, scrape the site, or use it in a way that damages or impairs it. We may block access from any source that breaches this section.

9. Cancellation and refunds

You can cancel your subscription at any time online from your account, through the link in any of our emails, or by emailing [email protected]. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current period, and you keep access until then. Refunds are handled under our Refund Policy, which forms part of these terms. If you are a consumer, nothing in these terms limits your statutory rights.

10. Liability

• Nothing in these terms excludes or limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot be excluded by law.
• Subject to that, our total liability to you arising out of or in connection with the service in any 12-month period is limited to the fees you paid us in that period.
• We are not liable for loss of profit, revenue, business, goodwill or data, or for any indirect or consequential loss, where you are a business customer.
• We are not responsible for results caused by corrupted or unsupported source files, for third-party platform outages, or for events outside our reasonable control.
• If you are a consumer, we are responsible for foreseeable loss caused by our breach of these terms or our negligence, but not for loss that is not foreseeable or that arises from your use of the videos for business purposes.

11. Suspension and termination

We may suspend or end your subscription immediately if you breach these terms, send prohibited content, fail to pay, or use the service abusively towards our staff. Where we end the subscription for reasons other than your breach, we will refund the part of the current period not yet used, calculated per remaining day.

12. General

• These terms, together with the Privacy Policy, Refund Policy and the plan details on the website, are the whole agreement between you and us.
• If any part of these terms is found invalid, the rest continues to apply.
• We may transfer our rights under these terms to another organisation; we will tell you if this happens and it will not affect your rights.
• We may update these terms. The date at the top shows the current version; material changes will be emailed to active customers at least 14 days before they take effect.

13. Governing law and disputes

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute, except that consumers resident elsewhere in the United Kingdom or in the European Union may bring proceedings in their home country and keep the benefit of mandatory consumer protections there. We will try to resolve any complaint informally first; email us and we will respond within 5 business days.
